Dr. Kacin’s teaching and research interests focus on motivation theory, innovative applications of instructional technology for teaching and learning, and faculty and student success. As an adjunct lecturer in the College of Education Instructional Technology program, Dr. Kacin teaches graduate courses in face to face and online settings. Through her work at the Office for Teaching and Learning, Dr. Kacin hosts workshops and seminars geared towards faculty and graduate teaching assistant development, including the implementation of learning outcomes in science, technology, engineering and math courses.
Dr. Kacin is the recipient of a King Chavez Parks Future Faculty Fellowship, the Wayne State University College of Education Dean’s Scholarship, and a Board of Visitors Scholarship Award.
