Dr. Ten Haken has a broad background in radiation oncology physics. His current primary research function is to guide, advise and coordinate the physics aspects of nearly all the ongoing clinical research projects in the Radiation Oncology Department at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ten Haken has an interest in training groups of MD, MD/PhD and PhD post-docs in clinical research projects. Dr. Ten Haken has developed novel iso-toxicity based treatment approaches for radiotherapy dose escalation.
Dr. Ten Haken recently served as co-guest editor for the special supplement of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics dedicated to the Quantitative Analyses of Normal Tissue Effects in the Clinic (QUANTEC).
